Nicolas Horvath brings much care and sensitivity
JPC.de
Philip Glass' piano works are in the best of hands with Horvath, because his personality combines technical skill and that certain pinch of pop feeling that is also needed for Glass' minimalistic soundscapes.

La Nuit Magazine – 18 Septembre 2015
In addition to the remarkable technique of the pianist, we savor here the sensitivity of his touch, the musician injecting it with a hazy and restrained grace that contrasts with intense emotions, a very beautiful rereading.
A masterful record

Utne Reader (Christian Williams - May 2015)
Nicolas Horvath is taking on more of Glass’ complex minimalism with aplomb.
La Vos de los Vientos (Mike Shooter– 22 May 2015)
Horvath's approach to the piece [Opening from Glassworks] is deeply lyrical, with a sentiment that is hard to guess in other versions, including the composer's own.
The mere presence of “Dreaming Awake” would be a more than justified reason for a Glass follower to come to this recording. The rest of the repertoire, without being so “rare”, is not among the most interpreted by its author, which makes this first volume of “Glassworlds” an interesting starting point for a series that can attract the novice and the expert alike. . We are also sure that the regular follower of the blog will find many reasons to enjoy it.
