Every month, we do a crazy job to offer you a new album, with a quality booklet written by Bertrand Ferrier and a graphic design by Clémence Michon.
The partnership with ACEL starts now! A first album (Shirkoohi) is available in physical format (CD digicase) in print on demand.
This year is also the return of concerts for me! And crazy projects:
-The Official Joe Hisaishi / Studio Ghibli recital (to be released on double disc, with 5 exclusive transcriptions)
-The Official Danny Elfman / Tim Burton recital (completely transcribed by me)
-The Official acoustic piano recital Alcest with Snow and Zero (transcribed by me)
-Immersive recitals in the Jam Capsule in Paris
I'm also working on other even crazier projects, but ..... these are not confirmed yet so I can't talk about them!
My radio show also continues, with a portrait every month and my musical discoveries.
For this month of January, I made the Top 11 of 2023.
The Agenda part has been updated and I can't wait to see you all again!!!

Some great new : we are working on a new website devoted totally to my new label : the Nicolas Horvath Discoveries.
Well, I realised that with Collection 1001 Notes (and now Acel too), we have released so many albums this year, that It became pretty difficult to follow it well here or on social medias. The website is not complete yet, but it might be a matter of days.
As some of you might have seen, on my Bandcamp acount, I am sharing many rarities. As some knew, but not all as we did not promote it a lot, I have a french radio show where I am inviting a composer each month to talk about his music, and after i am presening my musical selection of the month.

Today we are releasing on my own label, the 8th volume of my discoveries : the early Melaine Dalibert Music !
For so long I wanted to release the music of my friend and great french composer Melaine Dalibert.
I met Melaine totally by chance. Actually I don't even remember how. As much as my memory goes, he was a friend of a friend. Back in 2011, I was preparing for the Palais de Tokyo a crazy Homage to Philip Glass were +120 composers wrote a piano piece for Glass.
At this time, I was highly into social medias, and... I was internationally one of the very very few professional to perform this music on stage.
With Melaine, it matched at the right moment we started to exchange ! He did for this concert this haunting En Abyme (dedicated to me! yepee) , and I performed the piece I think .... all around the globe ! (the piece was perfect : beautiful and 3 / 5 min long ! perfect to fit into any programs!)
With Melaine, we performed on 2 pianos some of his work, I had the honor to receive all his music when composed, we also recorded the Eastman 4 pianos albums ..... so so many things.
This album is the first of a serie of albums dedicated to Dalibert solo piano music. The pieces recorded on this album are from his early and most radical period : Fractal Music !
As I am a fractal lover, it speaks to me.... like an infinite world, full of poetry and eeriness ....
In later this year, there will be more albums of Melaine Music, and maybe with world premiere !!! let cross fingers !!!

After months of brainstorming, we were able to find a nice way of presenting this page, were I can write to you directly about my own news and also some updates.
As you can have seen, there are many updates on the website itself and my own career / researches :
The creation of my own label (I may open a website devoted to it, as there are so many releases)
A new monthly radio show (in french only.... sorry) : Musiques Actuelles
The opening of my Bandcamp page where I share many recordings that never found their places anywhere.
Time to time I am coming back on social medias, but not as much as "I should". Also, since the birth of my son, we could not find time to do Vlog again. But it might change soon. But I prefer not to make plan on that.
We have released a very lot of music, and soon there will be even totally unexpected / expectable releases !
