Masterfully successful homage by Nicolas Horvath to Philip Glass on his 80th birthday.Nicolas Horvath knows like no other how to conjure up all the poetry from the technically demanding pieces and how to weave percussive repetitions with melodic finesse into a fine network of sounds. The recorded piano pieces are like music from another planet in their largely simple beauty, exotic tones and transparent purity. A treat for friends of piano music. Great !
